We're about to become best friends

I’m a secondary school teacher turned professional photographer, based in sunny Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan. I’m a partner, a proud mam to a chaotic toddler born in April 2024, and a fluent Welsh speaker.


When I don’t have a camera surgically attached to my hand, I’m usually chasing after the aforementioned tornado toddler, finding 3 spare minutes to play a videogame or watch something that's not made for children, or satisfying my insatiable shopping addiction (I always deserve a little treat).



I'm completely down-to-earth, probably a bit too enthusiastic about the things I love, and I don't really do fake or overly formal if I can help it.

Why people actually book me

(and why you won't feel awkward)

 

Because of my years in the classroom and a lifetime of neurodivergence, I know how to manage a crowd, keep energy high, and make sure children (and camera-shy partners) actually have fun instead of feeling trapped. And I don't expect you to show up and act like a professional model!


My entire goal is to create a space where you can just be a normal, beautifully messy human being. We’ll chat, we’ll laugh, and I’ll capture the real stuff while you forget the camera is even there.


Why is this important for branding/corporate shoots too? Well, the same principles apply! Whatever the session, my main goal is to make everyone feel completely at ease and ENJOY themselves! I know being in front of the camera (despite being on the other side of it 99% of the time) can be daunting at first, but one thing I can promise you is that you'll totally relax and we'll end up having a brilliant time.
